						<p>For the name Heliades, compare Ramsay, <bibl type="abbr" n="Phrygia">Phrygia</bibl> II 614, no. 523 (<placeName type="ancientFindspot" key="Akmoneia">Akmoneia</placeName>); <bibl type="abbr" n="MAMAV">MAMA</bibl> V 25 (Dorylaion). For another third-century funerary monument from the territory of <placeName type="ancientFindspot" key="Sebaste">Sebaste</placeName> designating the deceased as ‘Christian’, compare <ref type="monument" n="MAMA-XI-085">MAMA XI 85</ref> (1956/44); see also <ref type="monument" n="MAMA-XI-122">122</ref> (1956/41: <placeName type="ancientFindspot" key="Akmoneia">Akmoneia</placeName>: <placeName type="modernFindspot" key="Kızılcasöğüt">Kızılcasöğüt</placeName>); <bibl n="Tabbernee1997">Tabbernee 1997</bibl>: 174-6, no. 22 (Akmoneia: Ahat). In the absence of any close parallels in the region for the doorstone-type, the precise date of this monument is uncertain; the decoration is quite unlike that of the distinctive group of early third-century Christian doorstones from Temenouthyrai discussed by <bibl n="Drew-Bear1979">Drew-Bear 1979</bibl>: 299-302; <bibl n="Waelkens1986">Waelkens 1986</bibl>: 146-50, nos. 366-7, 372-5.</p>
