It is possible that this building inscription refers to the same monument as MAMA XI 167 (1956/8). If the incised design on the stone was precisely symmetrical, there would only be space for a further 5-6 letters at the end of the inscription, which seems insufficient for a name and office (‘when so-and-so was bishop/deacon/abbot...’). It therefore seems probable that only a little under half the original width of the stone is preserved.
