Ballance’s notes indicate that the stone was complete above and below. For the form of the monument (inscribed along the narrow face of a moulding or architrave), compare MAMA XI 186 (1955/23: Alayund); MAMA IV 103 (Şuhut); MAMA XI 187 (1955/14: Ağın). I have restored the formula in line 1 on the basis of a series of fifth- and sixth-century funerary inscriptions from the territory of Synnada:
MAMA IV 97 (Bedeş): † ὑπὲρ μν[ή]μης κὲ ἀν[α]π̣αύσε[ως] διακόν̣[ου] Μαξήμο̣υ̣.
MAMA XI 186 (1955/23: Alayund): [† ὑπὲρ εὐχῆς - - ]μου ††† καὶ ὑπὲρ ἀναπαύσεως τῶν γονέων αὐτοῦ, ἀμή[ν].
MAMA IV 100 (Alayund): † ὑπὲρ μνήμης κὲ ἀναπαύσεος Ἑρμῆ μουστρικοῦ.
MAMA IV 101 (Alayund): † ὑπὲρ εὐχῆς Πολυχρονίου φωλευτοῦ κὲ τῖς συνβή̣ου αὐτοῦ κὲ τῶν πεδίων αὐτῶν.
MAMA IV 102 (Anayurt [Alayund]): † ὑπερὶ εὐχῆς [- -] ς κὲ τῶν πεδίων αὐτῆς [Εὐ]ριμέδοντο[ς] κὲ Γανγίου κὲ ὑπὲρ ἀναπαύσεος Γανγίου κὲ τῶν πεδίων αὐτοῦ Τροφίμου κὲ Ἐπιφάνο̣υ̣ κ̣(ὲ) Μαύρου.
