Line 1: ΖΟΗC κὲ
Zoe, also known as Amyntiane, for her father Mamas and for her own husband Mikas and for herself, in memoriam.
I can only make sense of line 1 on the assumption that the mason inscribed a lunate sigma for an eta. The name Ἀμεντιανή is the patronymic form of the common Greek name Ἀμύντας, with epsilon for upsilon: cf. RECAM II 202, 229; I.Pessinous 82. For the name Μαμας, see Zgusta 1964: 282-3 §850-3. The name Μικᾶς, apparently unattested elsewhere, is a regularly-formed Greek name meaning ‘small’: cf. MAMA XI 318 (1956/167: Perta); Robert 1963: 56-7; Zgusta 1964: 315 §916; Drew-Bear 1978: 108-9; BE 2009, 494.
