Frugis (set this up) for his sweetest wife Stratoneike, in memoriam.

For the name Φροῦγις in this region, cf. Anderson 1899: 129, no. 149 (İnsuyu). The final sigma is an attempt to provide a convincing Greek termination for the Roman cognomen ‘Frugi’; cf. the form Φρούγιος in MAMA VII 57 (Laodikeia: Kındıras), and the examples collected by S. Mitchell on RECAM II 387 (Kerpiç).
