The physical form of the monument (a cylindrical column with a projecting flat panel carrying the inscription) has several parallels in earlier milestones from this region: compare I.Konya 237 (Seidiler, just east of Konya: Hadrian); MAMA VIII 261 (Obruk: Hadrian); A. M. Ramsay 1910: 21, no. 4 (Kulakmurat Han: uncertain). The first of these, I.Konya 237, also carries a garland in relief above the inscribed panel.

In line 20, there is nothing inscribed after the word passus; the distance numeral must have been placed just below this, on the shaft of the column.
