For the cross with tendrils incised at the base of the stele, see the commentary to MAMA XI 290 (1956/148: Hoydus/Akıncılar). The name Μαριάμη, a Hellenized transliteration of the Jewish personal name Miryam, is also attested in Lykaonia in MAMA VII 98 (Hacılar: Laodikeia) and MAMA VIII 127 (Laminger-Pascher 1992: 198-9, no. 325: Alkaran/Yenisu: Isauropolis); see further IJO II, p.490, n.30.
